1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 351 Windsor 4V Automatic. Up for auction is a nice 1970 Mustang Mach 1 (H-code) with a 351 4V automatic. The car originally had a 351 Cleveland 2V engine and FMX transmission. The previous owner replaced that drivetrain with a 351 Windsor 4V engine (block# C9OE-6015-B date code 8M10), C6 automatic and original 9" 3.00:1 rear axle. The engine runs very strong with an Edelbrock 4V carberator and aluminum intake. There is also a full length exhaust system with Hooker headers and Flowmaster mufflers. This Mustang retains all it's original sheet metal. The rear quarter panels have body filler around wheel opening and down low behind the opening. The drivers door has some rust starting along the pinch flange and front inside corner. The passenger door, both front fenders and hood are very solid. The floor pans are the original and solid with only one small repair on the RH front . The shock towers, front and rear frame rails and inner aprons are very nice and solid. The paint is nice from 5 feet away but does have some chips and blemishes. The car has a nice green deluxe Mach 1 interior with bucket seats, console and non fold down rear seat. The trim panels are all very nice with speakers only in the package tray. The chrome trim has some pits but is all straight and window moldings are in very nice condition. The glass is all nice and original except windshield which is a new PPG brand. This is a very nice and solid Mach 1 that is a strong runner. The Torque Thrust wheels are nice and the tires are new. The buck tag is still in place plus the VIN is stamped on the fender aprons. I have a clean title for the car. Please do not hesitate to ask questions or for the additional pictures of the car.
