Thanks for viewing my 1990 325ix just outside of Chicago IL. ZIP 60118. This was one of three 325ix cars I have owned over the past 8 years - if you live in a snowbelt area, and are looking at this auction, you know its because of the incredible all wheel drive on these cars. BMW did such a great job with the system that they are still used for ice racing today. Its been replaced with an Audi... and a truck, but it still has better winter traction than both combined. The details Its a white 4 door, automatic, with a black vinyl interior. The car has 171,900 actual on the clock and the interior is in reasonable shape. This is a car that I bought to part out. BUT it ended up being way to nice to part out, so I have sat on it as a project so I could have another winter driver with good gas mileage and power to spare. SO there was nothing removed - and I bought a part or two in the mean while to fix it up. Current condition information The engine is good and starts right up and reaches idle.. but it needs a battery. The transmission AND differential/viscous/transfer are also in good condition. Lights/Instuments/Turn/Stop all function, and the tires are in decent shape with 70% tread on Potenzas. Car has decent mechanics. Here is what it needs The front driver side took a small impact - see the pictures. Thats why it was going to be a parts car - but with a fender and control arm (just to be safe) its a full fledged driver again. The control arm is pictured in the trunk of the car and comes with the car along with 2 additional wheels and full spare. Everything under the fender looks ok, and nothing is bent.. but you will have to get a white front fender and match the pin stripes... the plastic 325ix specific fenders are in the trunk. It will need a fog light and housing - along with a hood release cable (which I broke last week checking the oil) The car has been sitting for a while... started and driven down our private road when we need to play cars or move things around. ALSO In a seperate aution - I have 2 other super cool parts. Both imported from Germany - a Zender rear valence that fits this and other 3 series of this model AND a BMW spoiler. This one is a bit rare - as it has a fiberglass section and the hard rubber foam from the euro M3. (pictured sitting on car - black spoiler and rear valence) This is not your typical rubberized M3 spoiler - this is larger and cost me 325 with shipping. These can be bid on seperately due to their potential expense. These are in a seperate auction. So this really is an aution for a car at about the same costs you would buy a decent engine/trans. Im not interested in parting this car out - Come get the whole car and drive it or part it. Ohio Title - clear and non-salvage. IF your needing parts - this is a simple and easy way to get far more for far less. I WILL let the auction run full term, as the Buy it now is far less than other major "parts cars" on line and Craigs list.
