Rare Matching Numbers 1970 Monte Carlo Big Block 402ci ! This Misty Turquoise 1970 Chevy Monte Carlo is a New Mexico 100% Rust Free Surviver! THATS RIGHT, A Completly Rust Free Factory Matching Numbers 402ci Big Block with TH400 Automatic Transmision and 12bolt rearend. 164k original miles, only driven 20k miles over the last 18 years. The previous owner stated the paint was original and he had owned the car for the past 25 years. It looks to me as if the vinyl top had been removed and the top painted at some point, but I'm not an expert. The paint is not perfect as you can imagine from a 42 year old vehicle, but it is great driver condition and it's only original once. An edelbrock intake, carb, HEI ignition and exhaust have been added for additional reliability and performance but all the original parts will be included with the car. Rally wheels in good shape, tires are older but have a ton of tread. No major engine work have been performed except the heads have been modified to run unleaded fuel. Motor runs good, no smoke or cooling problems and the transmission shifts firm. The A/C compressor was working when removed years ago and it will also be included. Recent repairs include a new alternator, radiator, brakes and battery. This car is complete minus the side molding which was removed at some point, the holes still remain. The Black interior is in good shape for its age, but the dash pad does have a crack and the door panels are showing some wear. The seats, carpet and headliner are in great shape. As far as I know everything on the car works including the radio. Due to the vehicles age it is being sold AS-IS. Please ask any questions before bidding.
