THIS EXPLORER IS LOCATED IN KENTUCKY. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS BEFORE BIDDING. VIN: 1FMEU73E87UA52663 DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on one previously owned 2007 Ford Explorer XLT. It is equipped with the 4.0 Liter V-6 Gasoline Engine. It is a 4-Wheel Drive capable vehicle. This vehicle was owned by the KENTUCKY STATE POLICE and they have turned this Explorer in to us to sell for them. We choose EBAY. This is declared State Surplus Property. IT DOES NEED A BATTERY. If you shut it off, it WILL need to be jump started again. It does have 177, 624. miles on it. Driver Side: Front fender: 2-3 small chips in the paint. Driver Door:2-3 small chips in the paint. 1 of those is by the key hole. Also the black paint in the "EXPLORER" emblem is coming off. Only on this side. Rear Door: 2-3 small chips in the paint and 1 small scratch under the window. Rear Quarter:1 scratch approx. 1/2" long near the tail light. Rear: Lift Gate:It has a few small scratches and a few chips in the paint. The Glass will or can be opened seperately from the lift gate. There is a rear window wiper and washer there too. Bumper: Except for a couple of chips in the White part on the passenger's side, the Bumper really looks good. It has a 2" receiver hitch. There is Electric for a Round 7-way plug near the hitch. Passenger Side: Rear Quarter: This quarter panel looks good. Rear Door:It has 2-3 small dents just behind the front door. There are several scratches or scuff marks above and in the dents. (See Photo). Passenger Door: 1 small chip in the paint on the door handle plus, maybe, 3-4 smaller chips on the lower part of the door. Front Fender: This fender looks good. Front: Grill: Some pitting on some of the Chrome. Some of the Chrome is peeling away too. Also a few chips in the paint that is below the headlights. Hood: A few minor scuff marks (they may come out with a good cleaning)and 2-3 very small chips in the paint. Interior: Tan cloth seats and Black carpet and floor mats. Front seats have NO rips, tears or holes in them. However the passenger front seat has some stains on the front edge in the center, towards the console shifter. PLEASE NOTE: THE ACTUAL CONSOLE IS MISSING / GONE. The shifter is there and the chrome ring around the shifter is there. It does not affect the way it operates or drives. It is simply gone. There is a traction control button on the dash. On the side of the shifter is an Over Drive button the turns the O/D off and back on. Both sun visors have mirrors. This Explorer has Cruise Control, Tilt Steering Wheel, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Power outside door Mirrors, Rear Window Defrost and Rear Wiper / Washer. AM / FM / CD Stereo. Rear Seats look good and fold down to increase the Cargo area, if needed. The side windows have legal Tint on them and the windows in the Cargo area are somewhat darker. The dash has TWO (2) Lights on: The "check tire inflator sensor" and the High Beam Headlights check light is on. I did notice that the HIGH BEAMS DO NOT WORK. Cargo Area: There are a couple of compartments under the floor and the jack is stored in one of them. The full size spare tire is underneath the back of the vehicle. Floor anchorsa to help secure your cargo too. General: This Explorer looks really good with the exception of the small dents in the door on the passenger side and the fact that there is no center console. It seems to run very well. The engine sounds good and does not leak any fluids. The transmission shifts the way it should. (or it did during the 1.5 miles that I put on it.) Also, on the roof, there are two mounts near the back that are for KSP Two-Way Radio antenna. At least there are no holes showing through or thereare no grommets to leak.
