Merely the Greatest Sedan in the World

Basically it's the 300SEL equipped with the 6.3 liter single overhead cam fuel injected engine producing a manufacturers conservatively rated 300 hp and air suspension. The example for sale is a California Blue Plate Zero Rust Clean example ready for restoration. The engine starts and runs smooth (see youtube demonstration below). The car has been stripped and is ready for your primer and paint. Air suspension raises when vehicle is started but will need an airbag in passenger rear. Interior seats in very nice shape but carpeting could use replacing. I have found interior carpet kits for the W109 300sel for under $400 on Ebay. In fully restored condition these cars are upwards of $50,000 and will only continue to go up. This car was originally brought over from its original state of California (see title ) to be restored in our bodyshop facility but the owner has been relocated and will not be able to restore so here is a great opportunity to buy on Ebay with No Reserve and have an excellant vehicle with all parts present and accounted for except a original Becker radio ($300 for a nice one on Ebay). This vehicle can be shipped as operational as it can be parking lot driven but the new owner must have it shipped home. The airbag in passenger rear needs to be replaced in order for it to be driven properly. The car is very solid and has great bones for restoration.
