A brevia history of the 911 is as follows: Based on the previous version of Porsche 911 Targa launched in 1967, the 1974 model was pretty similar with its predecessor, packing almost the same design and technical features. However, the new Targa came with a choice of three engines, 2.7-, 3.0- and 3.2-liter, producing 150, 180 and 231 horsepower respectively. This one has the 2.7 liter version. Similar to the older edition, the new Targa, along with all the other variants of the car included in the 930 series, was manufactured until 1989 when the German manufacturer brought out a whole new range of vehicles.
