The Good News: Absolutely NO BONDO or filler anywhere! The not so good news: it needs some. An excellent running, low miles Bonneville in #3- condition w/ a Very Good interior & straight, original panels having some minor rust through as described & seen in the pics viewable by clicking on link below & following instructions. Car passed the rigid PA inspection till 4 years ago when it started wearing Classic Tags. Present owner for about 9 years maintaining car as necessary. Previous owner did nice, partial respray on sides. *For 30 More pictures of undercarriage etc. please click on "about me" below & follow instructions:* about me Check out my other items! ~ CONDITION ~ Exterior: 98% solid, original dent-free panels having a very nice repsray in Skyline Blue of all sides, but not hood, top or trunk (go figure) over 9 yrs. ago. Car has numerous surface rust spots & some rust-through in small areas above rocker trim at both rear doors & behind right rear wheel. Some rust behind rocker trim, but nothing that can't be repaired. Windshield has star cracks on lower right side out of line of sight & should pass PA Safety Insp. Needs new wiper blades. Lights good. Trim, brightwork good showing some finish loss. Lenses good. Interior: Very nice original 2-tone interior in exceptional condition showing minimal wear on seats, door panels, headliner & instrument panel. Driver's door arm rest is worn & has tape repair & vent window crank is loose, dash pad has cracks. All gauges work as does Pushbutton AM radio & heater. Steering wheel has a few stress cracks at spoke ends, carpets are worn, floorboards solid in passenger area & trunk showing the normal surface rust from condensation. Weatherstripping is OK but beginning to age. Engine/Driveline: Very strong, smooth & quiet 389ci, cosmetically showing its 48 years of use. Newer belts & hoses. Transmission shifts quietly & smoothly w/ a very slight hesitation from 1st to 2nd which may be due to lack of use. Effortless, big car steering that is direct & tight. Good brakes & Newer Radials. Undercarriage: Surface rust on everything as seen in pics. Frame is solid, but there is flaking on the rails. Floorboards are solid & appear original. Panel to frame attachment areas are good & solid. Car has been maintained w/ a mixture of new & old bushings etc. & work as needed. Shocks function well, but appear old. Road Test/Mechanically: Started right up w/ smooth idle. Rides & handles beautifully w/ plenty of smooth, quiet power & comfort. SUMMARYA lot of Big Detroit "Wide-Track" car for the money. Great mechanics & interior w/ a straight body that needs some work, but should pass inspection as is. Prep the areas & apply some POR-15 or similar product or go all the way - your choice. It should gives years of comfortable cruising w/ 6 adults or experience the virtues of a big bench seat w/ that special someone!
