Up for auction from my collection is the remainder of my 1975 Suzuki GT550’s. I have decided to let both these bikes sell together in one lot as there is enough parts between these two examples to build one very nice bike and still have left over parts to build another nice driver if so desired. The nicer of the two bikes is the black 1975 GT550. This is a very complete and original example. The frame number reads GT550-58035 and the engine number reads GT550-59511 making this a numbers matching correct original example. The odometer currently reads 10,075 original miles and the build date reads 12/74. The other GT 550 that I am including (blue one) has a frame number of GT550-40154 and an engine number of GT550-41995 also making this a numbers matching correct original example. The odometer currently reads 20,540 original miles and the build date reads 2/74. I had originally planned on getting the black GT550 back on the road and using it as a nice daily driver but now realize I am never going to have the time to give it the attention it really deserves. I am convinced the new owner of these classics will have a tremendous starting point to build a pair of nice GT550’s from. The black GT550 is the nicest of the pair and is cosmetically a very nice bike. The original fuel tank is in very nice original condition and does not need to be repainted. The original side covers match the condition of the fuel tank. A nice original seat is also mounted to this GT as well as a very nice, clean and correct set of handlebars and controls. The chrome on this GT is also in very nice condition including the rims, rear fender and chain guard. As you can see, the front fender will need to be swapped from the blue GT. The headlight bucket, signals and fork ears are also in nice, usable condition as well. Overall, the black GT550 is a reasonable good condition, low mileage original that I feel warrants some time and attention to get back on the road as it could be a excellent daily driver with good resale value as well. It is currently not running and has been parked for several years. I also of course have a clear title for the black GT550 as well as key. The blue GT550 is obviously not nearly as nice as the black one but if you can look past the dust and the fact that it is partially disassembled you will see a GT550 with a lot of potential. The parts that are missing off this bike are included and pictured including the center pipe connector, original air box and intake boot, rear fender, battery box, shift lever etc. This GT550 could be used as parts or could be easily reassembled, cleaned and used at some point. The bike is very complete and the parts on it are in overall nice, usable condition. Also, the new owner could part out this GT as well and recoup part or all of the cost of both these GT550’s. I currently do not have a title for the blue GT but if the new owner desires I can acquire a clear title in my name for an additional $50 USD with about a 3-4 week wait. Just let me know what you plan to do with the GT after you win the auction and if you would like a title I will get it coming for you. Regarding Payment and Shipping, I will accept a wire transfer or a certified check for the GT550’s. Payment must be received within 10 days of the close of the auction. I will and can assist with shipping this bike anywhere in the USA or any other country in the World. I have sent many bikes to Australia, Japan and Europe and have many different channels to get bikes exported for a reasonable cost. I can also work directly with your shipper if you are outside the U.S.A to get this motorcycle to you. I can help with the paperwork and any customs forms free of charge as well. We can work together and get this bike to you if you are outside the USA-it is no problem at all. I can also deliver this bike to Forward Air free of charge or may be able to deliver within 500 miles of Minneapolis, MN. The bike is sold as is.
