1976 BMW 3.0 Si. Alpine White with Navy Blue Leather Interior. 144,000 Miles. Excellent Condition. Runs and Drives Excellent. Original California Rust Free. Three Owner Classic BMW. Unmolested – 100% All Original except Paint. Needs nothing, ready to go and drive anywhere, anytime. INTERIOR Navy Blue Leather, nearly Perfect Interior except Driver’s and Passengers Seat Cushions are Cracked due to age. Door Panels are in Perfect Condition. Dashboard is nearly perfect with no cracks. Original Headliner in Great Shape. Original Steering Wheel, All Trim Parts are 100% Original. All lights work. Has brand new ALPINE AM/FM/CD Player Tuner with Aux, USB and new 6 x 9 speakers. Refitted with new Hirschman Power Antenna. Dash Lights all work, all Gages work. Air Conditioning works great blows cold. Heater works great. All Climate Controls work. All electric windows work great. Electric Sunroof works great however needs a slight finger push to get opening, no problems closing. Trunk area is clean, rust free, also was repainted and freshened up with new carpet. Original Tool Kit missing 2 or 3 tools I believe. Original Spare, Original Jack, All new Bulbs, New Head Lamps, Brand New Flawless BMW OEM Windshield and Gasket. EXTERIOR Recently repainted over the original paint this year with BMW Alpine White. Body was taken down to near bare metal, Primed Blocked and Guide Coated 2 times. Body work is perfectly straight. However on the roof and the pillars behind the rear passenger side windows there are a few imperfections that were missed during blocking. Paint is a High Quality Primer, Base Coat Clear Coat and Baked Including door jambs, engine bay, Hood and Trunk 100%. Over $3000 was spent on the paint . There are no scratches or dings anywhere on the body. Car looks like it was painted yesterday. Car was never in any accidents or hit. I have pictures of the 3.0Si before it was painted, body was nearly perfectly straight except for a few door dings which were all corrected during blocking prior to painting. Prior to painting we elected to no reuse the door moldings, the original trim door molding was removed, holes were filled. I have all the original Ext door moldings and fender well chrome moldings and they will be provided with the car. This BMW has spent it’s whole life here in California and is rust free. Engine M30 : Original M30, 3.0 Ltr., 6 Cyl, Fuel Injected Engine. Starts right up and runs smooth. Transmission is a 4 speed manual shifts smooth. Clutch is Perfect, shifts up and down and into reverse perfectly. Matching Numbers original Engine is very clean and well maintained. Recent service includes Oil and Filter Change less than 50 Miles ago, New Spark Plugs and Hydraulic Fluid and Coolant Checked and filled. Engine does not smoke or make any odd noises. Idles perfectly, has lots of power, I would say runs as good as new. Original Exhaust System, no leaks. We removed the muffler and replaced it with a Glass Pack and ANSA Tips. I have the original muffler, it is perfect and will be included with the car. Recent Tune Up, Passes California Smog, Clear Title. Brand New Falken 195/65R14 Tires Less than 50 Miles on them, Powder coated BBS Mahle Rims, Brakes are all good, Parking Brake works good, Steering is Straight. Bushings are good, could be replaced, Shocks are Good, CV Boots are Good, Undercarriage is Clean. Note: This is not an Alpina, I just used a few Alpina Logos. I would welcome any visit for inspection and test drive. I have the California Title and Current Registration in Hand and some receipts / records, however the previous owner did not give us much of anything on paperwork.
