what we have here is a very nice project. it is 98% complete only missing engine and some side moldings that can be found easy. i bought this as a project but have changed my mind and building something else. this is a 1960 vw convertible that came factory with semaphores. and they work! car was origionaly dark blue. has some lower rust but not bad. fenders and 1 door are ready for paint. the other door needs some work on the bottom and the body itself needs 1 heater Chanel that comes with it and some lower patch work. will also need a rear apron and the front was hit at one time but i got a original 59 rust free front clip that you can put in if you decide not to straighten it yourself. take a look at the pics and ask any questions. i can help deliver if local. car is missing the engine, rear view mirror and the side moldings. but i have all the hard to find vert stuff. everything is boxed up, i have glass, chrome, latches, original rear convertible deck lid. the w vert deck lid does not come with the car but can be purchased separately if you decide. i am not a vw expert so i do not know if the fenders and everything are original to the car you must decide. also i have a clear title to the vin plate on the body, but the chassis is a 68 i do believe and i do not have a title to the chassis ask any questions, 500 deposit in paypal withing 48 hours, and rest within 2 weeks. there is a low reserve for a rare car like this. and again i have almost all the parts all boxed up this is a nice project again i know i will get lots of questions about the parts. i do have all the important stuff . only things i can think of missing is the rear view mirror, some side trim, and some small bits that can easily be found. i have all teh hard to find vert stuff, seats, latches, regulators, chrome around glass, glass, all that i do have, i just dont have pics cause they are boxed up
