Vehicle Detail
Condition - This truck is in pretty good condition for being 23 years old. The original paint is in OK condition; a few scratches here and there and typical wear over the years. It does have a small rust hole just behind the driver's door. I've installed a new rear bumper, bed liner, tonneau cover, new rear light assemblies as well as new headlight and running light assemblies. The interior is in good shape. All the gauges were working fine the last time it was driven. You can see in the pictures that the driver's side of the console has some markings. The front right tire doesn't want to hold air for very long. History - I bought this truck in July 2010. I don't know much of it's history before that point. About 1 1/2 years ago I decided I wanted to rebuild the motor and tranny and restore a few other things. The motor and transmission have been removed. The motor has been taken apart down to the bare block. The engine compartment has been repainted with a black high heat paint. Unfortunately, I had some bad luck with my house at the time and have had to invest in some remodel work and the truck has been put on the sidelines. The way the truck sits now would make a great winter project. I have most all of the engine parts along with bolts and nuts I've bagged up. I hate seeing this great truck sit another winter. It will be up to the buyer to pick up and haul the truck off. The motor block and tranny along with all other parts are part of the purchase. Once again, the motor and transmission are not installed. All parts in the engine compartment have been removed. The cylinder heads are not in very good condition; you will need a new torque converter; exhaust has been cut; the stock headers were in horrible shape and have been thrown away. I still have the crankshaft and misc. motor parts. You just need to know this truck needs a motor and exhaust. The stock transmission is still good.
