FOR SALE 1972 Datsun 240Z race car. A push button race-ready vintage race car, prepared to SVRA C-Production specs. Eligible for HSR, VDCA and SCCA ITS. Fresh from prep by Georgia 240Z guru, John Williams, this car just needs a tank of gas to go racing. THE CAR A Bob Sharp homage race car, built-up from a road-car 99-01 and developed ever since, with close to $40k in receipts documented in a 3” file that will come with the car. The car ran a handful ITS races a few years back and has not raced since, but has been maintained and developed into a SVRA-legal vintage race car. The car comes with SCCA logbook (last inspection passed in 2010), Georgia Title and extensive spares, including complete spare race motor with E31 heads and ARP head studs (requires rebuild), transmission, doors, front air-dam, road-wheels and fenders. Most money and time have gone into safety and mechanical work, so the body and paint is clean with a few smaller rough patches (just like a vintage race car should be) an easy cosmetic job for it’s new owner.
