1986 Honda Helix Motorcycle. Bike has 8700 original miles. I bought it to use as our family scooter at our beach cottage on chincoteague island, va. We used it for two years in a row and she ran beautifully and started up flawlessly each and every time. Chincoteague is perfect scooter country where on the island the speed limit is only 25 so we felt safe to use it anywhere as a scooter and never titled it as a motorcycle. We sold the beach cottage four years ago and the pretty little Honda Helix has now been sitting untouched in storage ever since. Now the battery is of course dead and I am sure the gas is dead too so she will need a good spring cleaning to get up and at em again. But this is a turn key bike, and was running and operating absolutely beautifully when I parked it right where you see it now four years ago. The windshield and speedo glass iss sctratchy and hazy looking and it obviously has had a mom and pop upholstery seat cover made, but the seat recover is well done I must say. this is an amazing bike that we coule take over the causeway (long bridge) at 70MPH, then tool around town fat and comfy at 20 too. Damn thing gets 80MPG!!!! Sold as is where is, up to buyer to love and restart. I am willing to help with shipping by referring you to a rollback company who charges $3.00 per mile anywhere you want to go. I have the clear Virginia Title in hand and ready to go to new owner You can have up to three weeks to make arrangements to come get the bike after sale The bike was running and operating perfectly when parked four years ago I am not a Honda service tech so cant give much info other than it started very easy every time, ran well every time, has lots or power, there is no excess smoking or any issues with trans shifting, all lights and turn signal etc work perfectly. I dont know of anything wrong with it, but it is a 1986 so is sold as is. I am still looking for the owners manual, it was here somewhere but I cant promise it will be found for new buyer, sorry. Deposit by paypal within two days, then you pay for balance in cash when you pick it up. I can also work something out with a credit card over the phone for deposit in you dont use paypal.
