Vehicle Detail
1986 Land Rover 90 300TDi (RHD)NOTE: eBay does not recognize the VIN, so eBay's model year is not correct. This is a 1986, not a 1980 Arles Blue with Tan Canvas R380 5-speed manual transmission 113,xxx miles on the odometer, approximately 60k on the 300 TDi (recent transplant) Clear NC Title New Exmoor Canvas top New galvanized rock sliders New Lion 265/70/16 radial MTs (Simex-type) New hood stick set (including MOD roll bar) New door seals New seat covers (blue nylon) New grill and headlight surrounds This is a very solid runner, probably the best of the 30 or so Rovers that I have owned. Starts immediately, every time, hot or cold. 300TDi (turbo diesel) professionally installed in the UK. Runs like a top. Body work and paint is good for the age of the vehicle with only two small dents in the front Passenger side wing (see pics), otherwise just a few dings/nicks here and there. No filler that I can find, and I looked pretty hard. Disk brakes all around. Very solid chassis and bulkhead with no apparent rust issues on either, except for just a bit in the footwells (surface rust, doesn’t require repair, but I would brush it off and topcoat). Door bottoms are solid, with just a bit of surface rust (again no repair required, but I would sand it off and top coat). Seats have new covers on them, underneath the grey vinyl upholstery is solid with no rips or tears. All electrics (lights, heater, wipers, etc.) work at they should. I think the paint is Arles blue, but not 100% sure – seems like it is very close, but maybe not exactly. The only apologies for this truck are the two little dents, some peeling paint on the DS door, a little grind between first and second (not bad, and goes away once you learn how to shift it), and the DS window does not go all the way down (which I think would be an easy fix, but I haven’t messed with it). Asking $14,900. Located in Raleigh, NC Call 919.257.1847 with questions. On Nov-05-12 at 07:13:33 PST, seller added the following information:The DS window issue has been addressed. It works fine now.
