this is a 66 ford econoline van,Mystery Machine!!the van was hand painted not decals, with the original motor and tranny. 6 cylinder 3 speed on the colume. the van runs good and drives nice. i think it needs a carb. though. it has a new altenator,plugs,plug wires, coil, dist.cap and eletronic ignition. new aluminum radiator, fuel pump, water pump. brand new tires with about 200 miles on them. new master cylinder, new brake lines , new brake cylinders. it stops on a dime. fuel tank was removed and cleaned and sealed. the floors were cut out and replaced with metal in the doghouse and wood floor in the rest, makes it real easy to put carpet in. it was painted with the rust protection paint that is real pricey, where it needed it. the body was all repaired with not much rust , what was there was cut out and metal welded in. but not much at all on the body. the worst spot was the floor and it was all replaced. the roof was rust protected and then sprayed with bed liner and then painted.the glass is all good.everything works except the gas gauge. lights ,turn signal, brake lights, it all works, windshield wippers all good. the engine gauge works great and the van runs as cool as it can!!! i mean really cool running engine. it has never come close to overheating not matter if we are in traffic or going down the road. you only need to finish the inside like you want and get a carburater for it. but get ready to get your picture taken were ever you go!!!! going down the road or when ever you park. it is a crowd getter!! we've taken it to shows with 1,800 cars and it gets more pictures taken that any car at the show!! it is a blast to drive and get all the looks and smiles, and the kids go crazy!! even the teenagers!! i think it's even on utube now. i haven't checked but the guys at the hardwear store said they were going to put in on.i've got to many project going now and that's why we are selling it.you will have a lot of fun with this van!!! any question, email me. the van was originaly owned by some nuns at a hospital . that is what the guy told me when i bought it. he was going to fix it and drive it but had to many projects as well.On Oct-26-12 at 12:12:31 PDT, seller added the following information: the engine does not smoke or anything like that, starts right up ,idles fine,i think it's just in dire need of a carburator.
