1966 BMW R-Series

I have done a sympathetic restoration. New: Piston and Bore,First over,Rod ,Rod Bearing,Piston pin, most of the bearing in the motor. New coil, voltage regulator,generator brushes,points and plug lead. The carb is off a /5, it works better than the R27 bing , I have the old carb if needed.The bike has a new set of Heidenau tires.The battery is about eight months old. The speedo reads in kilos,works good but is not calabratied correctly. the odomiter works. The seat is pretty used up and should be replaced.The muffler is after market,but work ok. The sheet metal is good, no rust ,but some small dents. I used this bike in the Moto Giro USA, 100% good.Paint and body is all that is left to full restoration This is a real nice ride the way it is now.
