______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on one previously owned 2006 Ford Crown Victoria 4-door sedan. This vehicle is Kentucky State Police surplus. It has the 4.6L V-8 gas engine. 235/55R17 Good Year tires. It has only two (2) hub caps. It has 174,581. miles on it. Automatic transmission. There is NO spare tire or a jack. INTERIOR: Rear window defrost and heated outside mirrors. Remote trunk release in the center of the dash (and on the driver's door). with light Gray cloth seats, and light Gray carpet and matching floor mats in the interior. Stains on both front seats and a few places in the front carpeting and on the floor mats. The back seat has a couple of stains on it. Power door locks. Power windows. Power side view mirror adjustment. The passenger's side outside mirror is shattered. But there is another mirror housing and mirror on the rear floorboard. Not sure if it is the 'correct' one for that door, but it makes sense that it "might" be. Heated outside mirrors too. Cruise control. Tilt steering wheel. The speedometer is "Certified Calibration". For whatever reason, the odometer has quit showing the mileage. It is a digital unit and has just quit. Manual 50-50 front seats with folding arm rests in the center. AM-FM Stereo radio. Extra interior dome light unit and it works(See Photos). Dual sun visors over each front seat plus a mirror on one per side. Driver's & Passenger side airbags. The Air Conditioner works very well. Tachometer. The ash tray / cup holder / cigarette lighter unit is missing from under the dash. There are a couple of wires hanging down from under the dash. More than likely from radio removal on one and from the cigarette lighter on the other. EXTERIOR: The exterior color is Silver. Driver's Side: The front fender has a couple chips in the paint and the body molding is coming unglued on this fender. Driver's door has a few little key scratches around the handle and some fingernail scratches under the handle. There are a couple of scratches near the bottom in the body line and a small dent at the bottom of the door. Rear door has a couple of chips in the paint and a few scratches plus a couple of long scratches. Rear Quarter Panel: 2-3 scratches above the wheel well and 2-3 medium long scratches behind the fuel door as well as a couple of chips in the paint. REAR: Two holes in the Trunk deck lid.These are the result of the KSP removing their radio antennas. These holes have electrical tape over them. The deck lid also has several small scratches in or on it. A small chip or two in the paint also. The rear bumper has a few scratches and a long scratch on the driver's side and a chip in the paint on the left rear corner. There are a few chips and scratches on the back of bumper. The bumper also has some paint missing in an area just behind the rear wheel on the passenger's side. PASSENGER'S SIDE: Front fender has a major scratch or two that runs on over into the front door on this side (See Photo). A few other small scratches in this fender too. Front door has a few small scratches around the door handle and a few other scratches in the door. Rear Door: It has a few minor scratches. There are a couple of spots aprrox. size of a nickel the have the paint missing below the door handle. There is a long black mark where something has rubbed against the lower body line and left the mark. It "may" be a scratch, but I don't think that it is, and it runs from wheel to wheel. Rear Quarter Panel: Has some small scratches and a chip of paint missing approx. 1" long and 1/8" wide above the rear wheel well opening. FRONT: Front bumper has several scratches on each side and a few chips in the paint on the front of it. The chrome on the grill is flaking in places. The piece around the grill has quite a few small chips in the paint. The Hood has several scratches and a chips in the paint. Roof: It has a spot above the front passenger's seat that has paint missing and some still flaking off. Plus where it is missing, there has started some surface rust. There are several other scratches over the rest of the roof area. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: There is a piece just in front of and over the radiator that has missing plastic trim nails or push plugs that hold body pieces together so that panel is just laying there. Also, someone has written "Wrong Fan Belt" on it (See Photo). Perhaps it does have the wrong one on it, BUT it drove out here and I drove it about 4 miles to see about it plus I let it idle for about four hours to see it was going to make noises or come off. Whatever is on there works just fine, as far as we can tell. Overall, this vehicle drives and runs well. It does not smoke and is quiet with no knocks or rattles or shakes. The transmission seems to shift properly. Since you can not actually 'SEE' this vehicle, we try to give as accurate of a decription as we can and try to help tell you the things that we find wrong with the car. With hopes that this will help you get a better feel for this vehicle. We had this vehicle running while we were are taking these pictures.
