Vehicle Detail
M635csi. All maintenance has been done by the same reputable shop for the past decade and the receipts are available. Recent double valve springs, valve seats, chain tensioner replacements. 6.5K miles on new timing chain. The car runs like new - or perhaps better than new. Professionally repainted it's original Arctic Blau color two years ago. No rust issues except surface rust around the battery housing. No chips, no rash, no dents. One minor scrape and repaired crack on lower right corner of the front air dam. A very small pea-size ding on the driver's side door, about 2 inches from the bottom that is hard to see unless you are looking down the side of the car. All the usual replacements have been done - brake hydraulics, clutch cylinders, all the rubber bits - bushings and mounts, fan clutch, cap and rotor, Bilstein shocks, rear subframe, A/C compressor, and many other parts replaced whenever needed. Professionally installed new stereo 2 years ago with USB for MP3 or iPod, and Rockford Fosgate 6" round speakers were installed in the rear pods, 4X6 replacements up front. Original metric wheels were replaced with 16 inch Borbet 5 spoke wheels by the previous owner. I am the third owner. It has two small cracks in the dash that are not easily visible (near the vents). The leather Recarro seats are in great shape (no rips). I have higher resolution pictures available on request. Car has recently passed Missouri safety inspection. Extra parts: Free flow cat, extra oil filter housing Minor things needing fixing: Driver side rear side window is difficult to roll up if it is rolled down (not impossible, but a little tricky). Good rule to follow: Don't roll it down. It is ownly designed lower about 4 inches anyway. Trunk spring is not attached. If you lift the trunk all the way it stays open on it's own, but as you lower it you will want to lower it gently so it doesn't drop. Vent sliders need new plastic nobs. I personally like the look of the sliders and the little lights without the big clunky nobs but they can be easily replaced. Payment terms: Cash or certified bank check only. Buyer arranges shipping.
