This V W Bus is a original unmolested, rust free, solid Arizona vehicle, last registered in 2004 with 134480 miles when parked under car port because of a bad clutch until given new life in March,2012. I replace clutch assembly, tension cable, starter,distributor points, all ignition parts, cleaned fuel system, oils, and that 1.6 liter 'Porsche Engine' fired right up like it was excited to run. Only drove it about 2 miles due to the tires being old, drives shifts and stops good, front disc brakes. Body, still with the original paint is very straight other than slight damage behind right rear wheel from 'looks like flat tire hit' (in photos) and a couple of dings and chips, roof has a 15' by 15' square hole were a air vent once was which I have covered. Went thru body on and off lift, from bottom to top and no signs of any damage or repairs from any accidents. Side sliding door works but the roller bushing need replacement and is slightly bent on bottom where's if opened and not carefully, door could fall off tract, front doors are solid,straight and work great. Some missing misc parts are-side door rail cover-rear bumper-fuel tank neck cover- center bench seat- head liner- radio- roof vent- RS front headlamp trim- window all work . Front & rear seats are rough and need recovered. This V W is title as a rest/salvg, issued in 2001 as a stolen/recovered vehicle and not a accident/ totaled vehicle. This vehicle has been resting for 8 years until I started to bring it back, I am not representing this bus as a get in and go vehicle with out some fresh tires and some minor misc needs, but she runs, shifts, stops, and a good original, unmolested, rust free, solid Arizona vehicle.
