2005 Ford F150 XL V6, the truck is a 2 wheel drive 5 speed manual. It is a regular cab but has 4 doors, which gives easy access to behind-the-seat storage. The truck has 93,3xx miles on it. The engine runs great and the transmission shifts smoothly. Everything on the truck seems to work as it should. I am listing this truck for a friend, but I will have the truck at my house so I can answer any questions and take additional pictures if necessary. I will do my best to point out any defects in the truck, I want to be forward with everything. This is a one owner, non-smoker's truck and was purchased new in September 2005 at a local dealership. It is fairly basic, but it has some good options such as A/C, Tilt column, a factory CD player, and a Class IV tow hitch. A Rhino Liner spray-on bed liner was also professionally applied after purchase. The interior of the truck is cloth and has been thoroughly steam cleaned and is, as far as I can tell, spotless. There are no rips or tears in the seats, and they are still firm and supportive. The rubber floor covering is durable and easy to clean. The gauge cluster was malfunctioning shortly after purchase and it was replaced under warranty. However, an automatic cluster was installed, and there is a blank spot where the gear indicator would be. The air conditioning blows very cold, and the heat and defrost work like they should. The truck has a nice, deep bed that is 8.1 feet long, making it perfect for securely hauling 4x8 sheets with the tailgate up. The inside of the bed has some paint splashed here and there, and occasional spots of mortar. It was used daily by my friend who is in construction. The plastic piece found on the top of the tailgate is missing. I have a picture to show this. The part can be found on eBay for ~ $75 if you are concerned. The body is in fair shape overall: there are normal nicks and small scratches, and the paint is good. The truck was hit in the side of the bed by a mini-van in January 2009. I have included a picture of the damage. There is a dent on the rear door, and the driver's door panel is slightly dented at the bottom. The bed side is dented in front of the rear tire and there is a dent/scratch after the tire, before the rear bumper corner. My friend didn't see it as necessary to repair the damage as it was his daily work vehicle. The damage is purely cosmetic, and does not interfere with any function of either door. There is also a tear in the plastic right below the drivers headlight. I don't have a close up picture of the tear, but it is visible in the head on shots. The tires are Yokohama Geolander 10 ply. The tread depths are roughly: 1/8" on the LF, 1/16" RF, 1/8" RR, 3/16" LR. The wheels have some surface rust on them but still look good. The truck had a new clutch installed and slave cylinder replaced a few thousand miles ago, so the truck shifts like new! The spark plugs and wires were recently replaced. A new starter was installed about 10k miles ago. A K&N air filter was installed for a small boost in efficiency. Comes with a 3-way Ball (1 7/8", 2"& 2 5/16") According to fueleconomy.gov The 2005 f150 4.2L 5 speed will get up to 19 mpg on the highway, making this hard working truck an awesome daily-driver!
