Vehicle Detail

Recent build and a fanstastic driver. This is a simple traditional rod. It does have all glass and all windows crank in and out smoothly to include windshield. The pop-up vent also works smoothly. You will get plenty of air on you on hot days! I also wired in a 12V 10 Amp ciggarette lighter outlet so that you can plug in a small heater for cool days also. This has all lights including a thirdbrake light I got out of an old school bus which is lined internally with LED's that illuminates the word "STOP" as a third brakelight. This truck is registered, Titled, and inspected here in Mass as a 1940 Chevrolet truck. There will be no registry issues with this Rod. The exhausts are internally baffled and able to be removed when you feel the urge to be loud. It has a very unique chassis which is 2 inch round tubing propely gusseted and square. The truck accelerates, steers, and STOPS great. This is why it's not a Rat Rod. It has a speedway radiator 19" fan and is thermostatically controlled. It does not run hot or have problems. The cam is lumpy but provides plenty of vaccuum for the 7 inch power brake unit. I pulled the engine out of a 79 Impala and went through it it does not smoke, choke, cough, or anything. I put a 2200 RPM Stall converter in it to accomodate the Thumpr cam. Please call if you would like additional pictures or would like ot discuss the truck. I have many build pictures. 401-601-0311 Jared or jaredcoderre@yahoo.com. I have a short video also that you can hear the lumpy cam. A quick note: The WEIAND Valve covers in pictures will be replaced with a very nice set of replacements. The Weiand's have sentimental value. This is a relist and I will be including the bomber seats. They are authentic bomber seats stamped with Bicester England factory marks. I had a set of cusions made of 2 inch memory foam so you won't sit on bare metal. They are very comfortable. I am 6' 3" and weigh 270 lbs there's no head room or clearance issues. Would consider trade/partial trade up or down for a Model A Sedan, Willys Coupe, and 30's - 50's cars trucks or projects Here's detaill on the components that went into the build Tubular Chassis 1961 FORD F100 FRONT AND REAR END Rear end changed to POSI 3:50 Ratio June 2011 Rear wheel cylinders, all 4 drums, and shoes changed June 2011 305 ENGINE Engine code 1978-79 GM came out of Impala with 38K on odometer Performance parts below installed July 2011 Comp Cams (Thumpr) 279-TH7, Comp Cams lifters, and Comp Cams springs Edelbrock 600 CFM performer series carburetor Edelbrock Performer series 2101 Manifold 60,000 V HEI Cloyes Timing chain and gear set (not the noisy set) TH 350 TRANSMISSION from 1978 CHEVY IMPALA with 38K on odometer B&M 2200 RPM Torque coverter installed July 2011 Speedway Motors Corvette 1” Master cyl w/ 7 inch power brake booster Speedway Motors 11 GALLON FUEL TANK .
