Vehicle Detail

PLEASE NOTE: ONLY (4,665 MILES) ON A DOCUMENTED REDESIGNED PORSCHE FACTORY REPLACEMENT MOTOR...... NEAR MINT CONDITION INSIDE AND OUT.... NO DINGS, SCUFFS, CUTS OR TEARS 10 on a 10 Scale 2003 Porsche 911 C4S Wide Body..... Adult owned - never raced or tracked. PEASE NOTE: The engine was replaced under a factory warranty due to a known defective intermediate shaft bearing. The engine failed at 25,598 on May 31, 2011. The car currently has 30,263. ....At this time the engine was replaced with a 2011 redesigned 3.6 liter motor straight from Germany. The new redesigned motor has a larger intermediate shaft bearing and a larger rear main seal. These cars had this issue from 1999 - 2005. There are several postings on the Internet to back this claim. The engine carries a full 2 year warranty from the date of replacement. The engine dealer replacement cost was right at $17,000. All service history and receipts are from Momentum Porsche which is where the car was purchased and serviced. The car has the following additional upgrades -- Premium Leather package Factory Carbon fiber interior kit Wolf Car Cover New Tires Just serviced four weeks ago with a fresh oil change (Mobil 1) and brake flush. Leave it to Porsche to create a little piece of heaven and call it the Carrera 4S. The updated 3.6-liter boxer engine is rich in power over the entire rev band, and feedback--through the steering, throttle, and shift lever--is spot on. What else would you expect from a $90,000 car? We're having trouble getting used to the excessive engine clatter at cold startup, but the exhaust's song at full throttle reminds us that this was indeed engineered by people who are in love with automobiles. So far, there are no problems to report--except for the waiting list to snag a weekend in our C4S.
