Vehicle Detail

Up for Auction is my 1995 YJ. I bought this Jeep with 1600 miles on it in January 1997 and have used it as my daily driver. It has gone through a series of upgrades and modifications over the last 15 years that have brought it to where it is today. It has some dings and scratches a few rust spots but no rust through. The body is in decent shape for it's age, but could use some light body work and paint. I have replaced the front fenders and they are still in black primer. The frame has surface rust and scale but is still solid no rust through. The interior is a little faded and I removed the seat back pouches about 4 years ago, but other than that it is nice shape and is all original except for the radio that I upgraded to a AM/FM CD rather than the AM/FM Cassett player that came in it. The original radio goes with the Jeep and the new owner. Now for the modifications: I have replaced the 4.0 L engine with an AMC 360 running an edelbrock RPM manifold and eldelbrock 600cfm carb with a large duration and overlap cam. It thumps pretty good. It has flow tech fenderwell exit headers with purple hornies, this is a little loud but a lot of fun. I am running the stock AX 15 transmission and NP 231 with a slip yoke eliminator kit fom advance adaptors. I had to lift the body 1" to clear thhe headers. The skid plate was cut back about 4" to clear the front drive shaft. After destroying the rear differential side gears 3 times I replaced the rear axle with a ford 9" with 4.56 gears and a trojan locker.I didn't like the front axle either so I canged it to a Dana 44 with 3/4 tn outers and high steer, 4.56 gears, a lock right locker and warn locking hubs. I have 4 inch spring lift 2 inches of shackle lift and went spring over just for fun.over all I have around 11" of lift. I have reclocked the inner "c"s to compensate for the changed pinion and caster angles. I also installed double cardan front and rear drive shafts. It drives very nice with no vibration at any speed. It has some oil leaks and could use some bigger tires but other than that, I would just drive it. I think you could easily get 38s or 40s under it without worry other than how you would get into it. It is currently 36 inches to the door sill. I have both a hard top with full hard doors and a bestop soft top with ful soft doors. It has 33x12.5x15 mud terrains on 15X 8 procomp rims. The spare is crap, just on there because my 4 year old thinks jeeps have to have spares on them. The windshield is cracked in several places and the rear diff is leaking. I should have it fixed before the auction is over. If you are local come and take a look and give it a test drive. If you have any questions please email me. I researve the right to end the auction early because the vehicle is listed locally. Thanks for looking and good luck.
