1937 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup. All steel and in very good restorable condition. California truck stored since 1974. 98% complete and very solid with minor rot on driver cowl down low and a couple small holes starting at bottom of driver door. Nice bed and good rear fenders are a big plus for this project.The engine runs with a hot wire and a gas can and sounds good, but after we shut it off and it sat for a few minutes I think the headgasket let loose from sitting so long. There was no water in the oil when we started and now there are signs of water in the oil. Have not restarted. The grill and a couple of interior trim pieces went missing while in storage.The windshield and back glass are good, the door glass is cracked.The truck is sold as-is with a clear California title from 1973.
