Vehicle Detail
Before we begin, let me state that the PICTURES IN THIS AUCTION WERE TAKEN ON 10 AUG 2012 in my Driveway AND NOT IN JAN 2005. My camera is set on default time and I never updated the timestamp. This 2006 Jeep was still on the Jeep Corporate drawing board in JAN 2005 afterall... Now that we have cleared that up... Here we have an excellent and Built Jeep Wrangler ready for summer fun or Winter around the corner. This is a 2006 Jeep Wrangler 4x4 with a professional 4 inch traction lift and newer 35" all terrain Mickey Thompson Baja tires with approx 7k miles on them. This Jeep Comes with the Hard top because we all know how much wind whipping and road noise those soft tops let into the Jeep. This Jeep also has a recently installed (3 months ago) and the much stronger Ford 8.8 rear end that simply outperforms the Dana 35s or Dana 44s offered on Rubicons or other more expensive Jeeps. As an added bonus, this Ford 8.8 also has the Larger disc brakes with it to make this a 4 wheel disc brake jeep that can stop you in a hurry. It was recently also retrofit with strong 4:88 Gears on both differentials to make this Jeep accelerate faster in traffic (unlike all of those other jeeps out there with oversized tires / no gear changes that are slow dogs that are simply dangerous when trying to merge with traffic, or doen't allow you to use 6th gear at all). This Jeep also has the speedometer gears which correct the speed and odometer count of the actual jeep mileage. The previous owner hadn't installed the differential Gears or the speedo correcting gears, so this jeep was clocking miles much faster than actual mileage. Considering how long he had the tires and lift on this, I would estimate there to be approx. 45-48k Actual miles driven on this jeep. I chose the last year of the TJ because I wanted the latest tested and true version of the 4.0 liter Jeep engine that I could get. This engine is bulletproof and has been around for quite some time and any 4 wheeler out there can provide testimony to its durability. I also took photos of it underneath to show there are no differential, engine, or transmission leaks. I had it maintained regulalry at Jiffy Lube and it still has its most recent oil change sticker on it (synthetic blend oil) The Jeep has perfect upholstery on the seats and has always had the seatcovers on that it has now. Underneath however are flawless factory seats - the covers were just there to protect the upholstery. It has mild upgrades to the sound system with aftermarket overhead speaker bar, amplifier, and CD Player. It comes with the rear Spare tire Gate and spare tire, should you somehow end up getting a railroad spike through your tire to flatten any of the ones on the jeep. The Jeep is ready to be towed behind your RV, as it has the battery disconnect and aftermarket brush guard with shackles so the key can be turned on so the wheels will track -all without draining the battery when being towed behind your RV. It also has a few other minor 4wheel drive options but this Jeep has largely known only the highway, but it is built for offroad fun as well. Now for the flaws. This Jeep has a Pink (?) Paint stain on the rear cargo area carpet where the prev. owner spilled some paint (pictured) and it has a couple of tiny rockchips in the windshield (both are less than 2mm). It has two slight stress splits on one of the Fenderflares (see pics) and the rear plastic license plate mount was crushed by someone backing up the jeep - also see pics (this is the plastic piece only crushed and I was going to replace it with another plastic piece found on Ebay or your local 4x4 shop, but this was so minor I never even worried about it). I also replaced the rubber hood clamps with polyurethane ones however, because the factory rubber hood latches/clamps allowed too much play at highway speeds on a windy day - however its no longer an issue with these newer ones installed. The Spotlights on the Hood never worked, but the inside switch light comes on when the switch it flipped, which makes me think it is either a blown fuse or solenoid. Headlights and all blinkers, stoplights, brakelights and markers etc all work like they are supposed to. This jeep starts right up easily everytime and runs like a top with the AC on. With the new gears, it can now accellerate safely into traffic safely and can even use its 6th gear on the highway! The lift is rock solid (some of the lift installs are shaky or poorly done) but this is a pro job and it rides like stock. Come take it for a test drive and see what I mean! Overall, this Jeep has several thousands of dollars in extras than a stock 2006 TJ, and this is waaay better looking in current form and much more functional. I get lots of thumbs up around town in it and it can turn around on a dime... Seriously, I have never driven a vehicle with this tight of a turning radius. This jeep just passed inspection back in May and the plates are good until May 2013. This Jeep will easily pass any state inspection. I can hold onto this Jeep as long as you need me to until your shipper arrives or you come pick it up. I have the title free and clear, so come get a well built jeep for less than what everyone else wants! Just Take a look at what like Jeeps in your area are selling for with these options and you will know you are getting a good deal! I am selling because I dont really go offroading (at all actually, this has yet to see the offroad since I owned it) so take advantage of getting a good deal from a private seller just trying to sell a Jeep he he no longer drives vs. you buying from a dealer and helping pay a dealers salary. As a matter of fact, I am selling this for my brother who is in Afghanistan and isn't driving anything right now. I'm confident once you compare, you will see this is a terrific deal. Thanks and call Roxanne at 720-299-0946 if you have any questions or if you want to take it for a test drive. Also - this Jeep is for sale locally and I have a few offers with one person attempting to secure Bank financing on this. Everyone who has come to look at this jeep says this Jeep is in way better condition than I described becuase I left out a lot of extras like the swaybars, quick detach shocks, and it is one of the cleanest they have seen. Come look at it and I'm sure you too will be sold.
