Grand Dads C-10, ONE Family truck for 44 years. Turn Key & Roll! This truck has been in the same family for almost half a century. Grand dad bought this truck for his daily work truck @ his store, Blackburn's Gas & Grocery in South Fork, Missouri. Joe Blackburn was his name and he was the mayor of South Fork, Missouri. Everyone knew Mayor Blackburn's White 68 Chevy Truck. About 15 years ago the truck was repainted white with pinstripes added to replace the door lettering. The "Blackburn" truck still looks great and gets lots of attention where ever it goes. Tires are 90 % and rolling on nice aluminum rims in great shape. Exhaust is good shape too. Its a great running truck that is Super Reliable. 4 speed on the floor, 292, inline 6 cylinder engine is original with only 119,102 miles. Blackburn is very low geared and will pull a house down or pull a tree stump out. I just drove him over 100 miles to Ottawa ,KS and back yesterday for a classic truck show. Everything works & I think you could drive him anywhere in America today without worry. Blackburn is 44 years old & has the typical small areas of rust that are common to these vintage trucks but it's not bad and is very solid. The bed is completely usable, yet could use replacement panels on top & some body mounts, all of which are inexpensive and easily available. Blackburn lives in Kansas City, Missouri now, right off I-70 & I-435. Please feel free to stop in and take Blackburn for a test ride, you will like him. I will be happy to assist you in transport if that's your choice or I can meet you @ the airport so you can drive him home.
