Vehicle Detail
Hello, up for sale is an extremely nice 1936 Ford truck. It is a 1 1/2 ton flatbed. It has been in heated dry storage for over 30 yrs. Before that it was in an unheated barn but was still inside. It was last registered in 1952 in Kentucky. It has been in storage since then. Was just pulled out last week. This is a great example of an original barn fresh Ford truck. You simply don't see these any more in this condition as they worked until they died and were often scrapped or used for spare parts on newer trucks. The paint is original. The tires are even original. It has the original V8 flathead and 4-speed toploader transmission. The engine cranks and turns over. With a basic tune-up (points/wires/rotor/cap/etc.) this truck should fire up and run like a top. The interior is all original and is all there, even the headliner. Seat is original and has not been recovered. Even the original keys are in the ignition. Glass is all original and is all there but does have some hazy spots and some cracks. Doors open and shut like a brand new car. No sagging what so ever. This truck is 99% rust free. The only spots I could see were on the steps right in front of the doors where a step pad would go. Very easy to patch or simply cover with a new step pad. Cab corners, fenders, and all typical rust spots are solid. No bondo. The only real dent I saw was on the back of the cab next to the window. Very easy to bang out from the inside. This truck would make a fantastic advertising piece for a winery/vineyard or brewery. Load up some old wooden barrels in the back and put the name on the door. Would also look great with a Texaco logo on the door and some old oil barrels in back. I have a clean Ohio title in my name. I can help with loading. This truck will fit on a standard size car-hauler. Please email me with any questions. I reserve the right to end this auction early. We are located 22 miles north of Cincinnati, Ohio off I-75.
