For sale a 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS. Car for sale by original owner after ten years of impeccable care. Please see the original widow sticker and VIN for the list of accessories and options. Car is 100% totally original except for aftermarket chrome tail pipes installed at original purchase. All components are the same as those when purchased on day 1 except the battery and fluids. Excluding those, EVERYTHING and every component is the original component. Brakes have never been replaced, tires have never been replaced (the original tires still have the whisker nubs sticking out on the sides of the tires), no service excepting fluids and battery has ever been performed. It has been a topic of joking derision at our local dealer. Employees there recognize the owner as a regular (every three months) for oil changes although sometimes the difference between oil changes at times was only a few miles. There may be some that claim low miles on their cars. This is a true low mileage original miles automobile. Owner has amassed 9,679 miles on it since purchasing it in 2002. It has been utterly pampered throughout that time. It has NEVER seen or been exposed to rain, snow, cigarette smoke, obnoxious or harsh cleaning fluids, it has been ALWAYS garaged and frequently under a car cover, it has ONLY been driven locally to leisurely family functions and has been truly babied while driven and while garaged. The owner is now just shy of being an octogenarian, does not really drive at all any more, and has always driven very slow and very carefully. This car has likely never seen 60 mph. The car's computer reads it average speed as 23 mph. The car is 100% cosmetically and functionally. The paint is pristine, and if there is anything that must be noted as an imperfection it is that there are two spots on the paint where there are a scuff and scratches. The one spot is a scuff like mark that looks as if it can be rubbed out, the other spot has two scratch like marks that likely cannot be rubbed out. Both are small (see pictures) but are the ONLY imperfections in an otherwise flawless car. The paint otherwise would match that of a new car at a dealer, the shine and gloss are like new, and the shine is without the hairlining and scatchiness of an improperly washed car over time. The interior is immaculate, the back seat may have had a lone passenger or two at a time but one would never be able to ascertain that for sure. The front seats, dash, console, and everything are like new. The brake and accelerator rubber pads are the only components that show any discernible sign of use. The trunk and engine compartments are also 10 of 10. The engine compartment displays beautifully and although never washed, looks very clean. The compartment and the hood shield have never experienced any leaks, stains, displacement, or adjustment, and the engine compartment has only been serviced in its history for fluids and battery replacement. This car is a gem and is investment quality. I tried to take viewable pictures of the undercarriage to show its great condition. They are included in the listing but they, much like the others, really do not do justice to the car. Nor do they capture the original, unadulterated smell and aura this car exudes from stem to stern. The new owner will be 100 per cent satisfied and grateful for this purchase. It is not being sold of necessity, profit, or fancy. It is being sold as an opportunity for someone else to continue as custodian, and a relinquishing of current custodianship. For someone who truly cares to proceed as the next caretaker of a real, original, collectible vehicle that will likely, if preserved, do no worse than maintain value and at some point produce a positive return on investment.
