1969 formula 400 f/bird factory 4spd manual & power steering, engine is the original 400ci 4bbl unit , i hav,nt checked any numbers on the transmission, the car runs & drives clutch is good shifter is tight , body is straight trunk floor is solid, floorpans are original with no signs of rust one front fender has rust at the bottom, & driver side lower quarter has some very very small pinholes both orig ca black plates are with the car, it has never been painted & there are no signs of any previous accident damage , all parts that were taken off are with the car except the lower rocker mouldings & the trunk lock , interior is original seats carpet & headliner are in bad shape door panels are good but have speaker holes in them grille is not perfect & would probably require rechroming , carb air cleaner are all original equipment , radio is an old aftermarket unit but the tyres are good there is no spare wheel , dash does,nt appear to have been hacked up , overall i,d say its a good solid original, running driving car that is going to need paint & interior, please ask questions before you bid this is an auction you are bidding to buy be the first one to think about it i can be reached at 415-517-5754 if you have any questions other than teh reserve price you will have to bid to find that out thanks for looking On Oct-06-12 at 11:25:32 PDT, seller added the following information: just to answer everyones question the casting # on the back of the block ends with 616 which matches the vin the stamp on the front of the block is WZ THIS THE CORRECT FACTORY ENGINE FOR THIS CAR .
