Very nice 63 chevy shortbed project truck. Does not have an engine. Still has original 4-speed in it. The truck was bought new by a man here in Rapid City in 63. In 1971, it was involved in a fender bender on the right front corner. They had an older tow truck and took the front clip off the tow truck and put on the 63 SB(explains the white front clip). About 3 months later, the clutch went out and they pulled the 6-cylinder out and this is how it was sitting when I got it. It has no rust on the cab at all. Floorboards are immaculate. Both door checks are gone so it has dents in both doors at the front. It was stored in a barn with cattle. It is missing the driver's side door glass. The bed has a couple dents in it but not bad at all. The tailgate has a dent but the truck comes with a very nice tailgate. I have not seen an original truck anywhere around here in this good of shape. The windshield has a crack and our local safelite autoglass has one for under $150 installed which is very cheap for this wrap around windshield. I have the original seat but it needs recovered. The fuel tank was gone when I got it. I have a lot of parts to go with it. A tailgate, heater controls, heater box, and other stuff. The truck has 4 new chrome wheels on it. They are just chrome wagon wheels with 235/75/15 new tires. These were put on to move it around while I restored it but I'm preparing to move across the country and decided I would rather take my jeeps than this truck. I know I will never find another one in this unmolested shape again but my loss is your gain. It has been stored inside for the last 4 years and since 1971 before that so in essence, it has been stored indoors for the last 41 years. This is evident by looking at it. If you need pictures of anything in particular, let me know. I do work a full-time job so it may take me a day or 2 to get more pictures. Once paid for, truck could sit here until March of 2013 and I will be moving. Topper on truck NOT included. It is just sitting on there for a place to put it.
