Vehicle Detail
For sale an all original unmolested 1963 Ford Falcon covertible. Its heritage burgundy in color and is a 6 cylinder 2 speed automatic transmission. This car sports a power covertible top thats in nice condition. The car runs and drives great. I just installed all new wheel cylinders and brakes, new fuel tank and sending unit, fuel pump and rebuilt the carb and changed the oil. The car is a fun car to drive and gets a lot of compliments. The speedometer reads 37,000+ miles but I am thinking its turned over. The man I got it from had it since 1991 and it was garaged since then and rarely driven. I have the original owners manual that came with the car and filled out to the first owner. The car is not a show car and has some imperfections but its a 50 year old car. The interior is original and will need aome attention to make it really nice as the stitching is giving up. The body is straight and fairly rust free but is not flawless. It appears the rear quaters have either the start of rust around the wheel wells or maybe they have been worked before. The paint shines nicely and has been to a few recent car shows. The underside of the car is fairly solid with some surface rust. The car was produced in Ohio and they coated the bottom with a heavy spray pitch coating. The only thing that I am aware of that doesnt work is the am radio. I never looked into what might be wrong with because I wouldnt listen to it anyway. I was going to street rod this car but decided its a shame to do that to an all original car thats this nice. I was told the factory color heritage burgundy was a rare color. If you have any questions I will try to answer them the best I can.
