Vehicle Detail
Nice 1963 Vette with near new convertible top, professionally re-upholstered seats, nice carpet, and very clean underneath. The engine is a 350 and was rebuilt in the fall of '08. This car had been in the same family since the early 1980's until 2009. Rims and tires put on in the fall of 2008 and the 4 speed transmission was pulled and an automatic installed. The clutch pedal is still in the car lying under the carpet so it can be changed back to a 4 speed as it was originally. This car was sold by Pro-Team Corvette Sales, Inc. in Napoleon, Ohio to the man I bought it from in March of 2009. This car has had very good care, and it shows. Odometer does not work, as is with most old Vettes, so mileage unknown. The tach is not presently hooked up. I believe it needs a Mallory type distributor to allow it to work, but you Vette people will know for sure. The heater is not hooked up. Original radio was removed some time in the past. Radio/casette player installed. The B&M shifter looks great. Hooker headers and side pipes sound great Edelbrock manifold. Mild fender flares, 15" wheels on the front at 16" on the rear American Racing Mags all around Very little wear showing on the tires. Power steering and power brakes. Front disc brakes, rear drum brakes. The rear spoiler looks like it came from the factory that way. Big block hood gives it that studley look. Paint looks real good with the minor stress cracks fiberglass gets. Convertible top looks new. The original grill is there, so just add front bumpers to put back to original, although it looks great like it is. The headlight bucket openings have not been altered, so a set of buckets & lights will put them back like original, but then again it looks great like it is. Rear bumpers and like new. The handling is amazing. It runs and drives like a dream, and hugs the road beautifully. It is nice and tight and I would not be afraid to drive this car anywhere. This car is not a "kit car". It is a slightly modified Corvette, and with a little work could be put back to it's original condition, although it looks great the way it is. It is a real head turner. The title is clear and this IS NOT a salvage car. This is a car that someone decided to fix up a little differently than the thousands of other Vettes of this vintage. Stack it up against other Vettes at a Vette show and I guarantee you that the modified ones get more attention than the "original" ones, but then I am not a purist. I am sure I have left out something, so feel free to ask any questions, or call 209-736-9224. I am in Angels Camp, California, about an hour east of Stockton, on Hwy 49. I can get the car to a transport facility in Elk Grove or Modesto (just off the Hwy 99 freeway) to help make the transporting easier, and less expensive, or you can just fly out and I can meet you at the airport and you can drive it home. I wouldn't be afraid to drive this car across country. It runs great and I can see no problems.
