I have for sale a 1956 Gumman Olson Step Van. This would be an awesome Street Rod, Rat Rod, Ice Cream Truck, Old Style Milk Truck, etc. I had big plans for this but just don't have the time to do it. Instead of letting it sit I figured I would sell it to someone who will use it. It has been parked since at least 1980 something. That being said it’s going to need to be gone through completely. I found an old registration in this van. It was registered as a 1956 Ford so it should be a Ford chassis and drivetrain. It says empty weight is 4800 lbs and Gross is 8700 lbs. The entire drive train and steering is intact minus the driveshaft & carb. All doors open or slide like they are supposed to. All the glass is a little foggy around edges except door glass. Driver side vent style window is broken (see pics). Body is all aluminum so no rust, it has a few bent spots along bottom which I took pictures of. The front bumper is bent into nose a little also a picture. Someone had hand painted most of the truck light green but it should pressure wash right off. Overall it is in good to fair shape. This truck is 18' long, 6' 6" wide & 8' 6" tall. The registration says 4800 lbs. We got it on the trailer with a two ton hand come along, so It may be a little lighter than 4800 lbs. The driver seat and stand is not in this truck but the floor mount is still in place.
