Vehicle Detail

Up for auction, a restomod '54 Ford F100 with a '53 grill. It has had the body taken off the frame, and built with using the original frame, boxing in the front for strength and adaptation. A Mustang II kit was installed, which includes rack and pinion power steering, with tube A arms and disc brakes. It does not have power brakes at this time, but a new booster comes with this to install. Ricci Racing, a local stock car builder and speed shop, welded and set up the chassis, so you know its right. The underside panels are painted emerald green. A low mileage (less than 30K) '79 Ford pickup 302 V8 and C4 automatic transmission was installed using aftermarket engine and transmission mounts. The engine was treated with a Holley 4bbl and Edelbrock intake and headers and dual exhaust. A GM chrome alternator (12V) feeds an aftermarket new wiring harness that has a modern fuse box/links and is marked on each wire what it provides. The gauges are Stewart Warner. The glass is all new, so it is safety glass and has all new rubber mounts. The bed is oak,but has some deterioration from the weather. The rear is a 9 inch Ford from a car, with drum brakes, and all new cables hoses, and metal lines. The heater and fan works, but no air conditioning installed. The lights are new, with halogen bulb type headlights and new Ford script tail lights. The fenders and running boards are all new aftermarket. Many new chrome pieces around the body including inside and outside door handles. The suspension is lowered front and rear. The wide whites are bias ply 7.10x15 that surprisingly give it a decent ride and handling. The interior has a recovered velour original seat, with a door panel/headliner kit that really gives it a more complete feel. The stereo is a great Kenwood system with a CD player. The truck has had a lot of time and money put into it, with all the bought parts and systems, and the farmed out labor. The body/cab has had a couple repairs/patches that are of amatuer quality, but not that bad. The cab was fairly rust free to start. The paint, although a beautiful color and choice, has dry spots and a little orange peeling and other small mistakes that at 10/15 feet really can't be detected. Maine does not provide titles to vehicles prior to 1995, but the registration is adequate to provide title states the proper needed documentation. Yes, the truck runs and drives great! I didn't build it, but I have put 25 hundred miles on it. Everywhere I take it, I am stopped, interrupted, and conversed with about how that person loves the truck. Really something. Good luck bidding!
