1963 Chevrolet Corvair 700 2-Door Coupe I'm selling my 1963 Chevy Corvair. It's a maroon, 2 door automatic. It's a very nice reliable daily driver, perfect candidate for full restoration, or drive while you upgrade it! The Corvair has the original flathead 6 cylinder 164ci engine, with dual carburetors. Has individual pod filters on each carb. Dual exhaust with new mufflers, sounds great. 2-speed PowerGlide automatic transmission. New Kumho Solus tires, and excellent brakes. Starts easily, runs excellent. Quick car, handles well, and a very nice driver. Pretty decent gas mileage. Paint is original maroon, a little faded, but usable. Trunk up front is original speckle powercoating, in very nice shape. A few scratches and dings, but overall body is very straight. Floors are rock solid. Only rust on car is passenger side rear pillar, and passenger side bottom front of door panel. Engine drips a little oil, and the oil pressure sensor needs to be replaced, (tested and pressure is to stock specs). Headliner was removed. Original was white, and falling down in spots. Vinyl interior in decent shape. Rear seat and package tray in excellent condition. Front seats and door panels covered in grey vinyl. Original maroon vinyl on front seats, but has some rips, and springs are soft. Carpet is in nice shape. Has original Monza model hubcaps. Comes with original service manual. Clean CA title and registration in my name. Come drive it away, anywhere! Ready to go. Front grill trim is from a 1964, but car is a 1963. Car is located in San Diego, CA 92117.
