Vehicle Detail
1964 1/2 MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE VIN: 5F08D180601 THERE ARE ALMOST 80 IMAGES OF THIS VEHICLE BELOW THE DESCRIPTION! DESCRIPTION: This 1964 1/2 MUSTANG Convertible is a stunning example of what a professionally rebuilt automobile can look like. The attention to detail is overwhelming and in most regards this is a vastly improved automobile from what it was like when it was born. Fraser Dante Limited is responsible for the incredible finishing details and time consuming labor that went into producing this rolling work of art. The Mustang that was introduced at the '63-'64 New York World's Fair was shown in the same colors!Mustangs are seldom found in the splendid condition that this one is in. Everything on this car was rebuilt and it is in perfect working condition. If you would like a PDF of the multiple pages describing the precision restoration work that was done to this automobile, we will gladly get a copy of it to you. All you'll need to do is provide us with an email address that we can attach it to, or simply give us your phone number/s and best times to call. The interior of the car is exceptionally tidy and the power top goes up and down without hesitation and closes up nicely with a red vinyl cover. The power is supplied with a great running 289CID V8 engine that is coupled to a 4-speed transmission. We realize that there were some design liberties taken with this project and that this is not a Concours example. That said, it was purpose built to provide the new owner with a classic Mustang look and much better than stock performance. The car runs and drives better than it looks. It comes with a fitted cover to protect it and 4 (four) original wire wheels covers (as shown in one of the images). The Rangoon Red paint job is show quality and bears no blemishes at all. The new owner will get an encyclopedic folder providing them with every conceivable detail of this cars history back to the second owner as well as owner's manuals and other collectible data. Parts of the albums contents are illustrated in some of our images. The history provided professes that the majority of the steel on the car is original with the possible exception of the hood. There are numerous web sites that will help the uninitiated to become much more familiar with the history and details of these wonderful early Mustang automobiles, as well as the restorers of this particular vehicle that we mentioned. As with all of our eBay Motors listings we try to let our high resolution photographs tell the story about the vehicles that we are selling. Careful examination of the car revealed no condition issues. You would have to consider buying a brand new Mustang to find one that is nicer than this! If you study our multiple clear images very carefully, you will see exactly what this beautiful 1964 1/2 Mustang Convertible is all about. Our almost 80 high resolution pictures of this vehicle, shown below, will do a much better job of describing the look, style, condition and value of this classic Mustang Convertible than our words ever could.
