1970 Ford Mustang Fastback 351 Cleveland 2V 4 Speed. Up for auction is a very nice 1970 Mustang Fastback (F-code) with a 351 Cleveland 2V engine and 4 speed transmission. The car came originally with a 302 2V engine and a C4 automatic transmission. The previous owner replaced the original drivetrain with a 351 Cleveland 2V engine (block# D0AE-6015-L date code 0K30), Toploader 4 speed (RUG-E3) and original 9" rear axle with 3.25:1 traction lock gears. The engine does not currently run but does spin over freely and appears to be all stock. The car retains all it's original sheet metal. The RH quarter panel is very nice and solid. The LH quarter panel has some body filler in front and behind the wheel opening, there is also some bubbling in the front repair. The hood, fenders, trunk lid and front valance are all very nice and solid. The doors are also solid with only minor bubbling at the corners on the RH door. The drivers door is very nice but does have a speaker hole cut into it. The front floor pans have been repaired and could use some additional work. The RH front frame rail has some rust and will need some work, the other frame rails are all solid. The inner fender aprons are also the originals but do have some minor bubbles on the top flange. The torque boxes are real good and shock towers are also very solid with no grease fitting access holes. The car has a very nice black standard interior with deluxe bucket seats, deluxe rear seat, rim blow steering wheel and non fold down rear seat. The rear package tray is the only item that needs replaced. The chrome trim and window moldings are all in very nice condition, could use new door handles. The glass is very nice and the original except the windshield has some wiper scratches. This car has a rear spoiler, wheel opening moldings and 15 inch Magnum 500 wheels. This F-code fastback is an excellent vehicle to make a Boss clone. The buck tag is still in place and the VIN# is on the fender apron. I have a clean title for the car.
