It’s a 1978 block revised with coolant passages. Before installation it was pressure tested, magnafluxed, and shot peened. The block was decked to zero piston clearance and bored .30 over. It has new brass soft plugs and new cam bearings. The pistons are .30 over Keith Black. The factory rods were reconditioned on both ends and the small end is full float. The crankshaft has been shot peened, magnafluxed, and turned 10-10. The rotating assembly (crank, rods, & pistons) is internally balanced and Clevite bearings were used to assemble. The piston rings are Moly and were file-fitted. The cylinder heads are casting #2780915; this is the highly-sought after and very rare big block closed chamber cylinder head that was only produced in 1967. A competition valve job was performed on the cylinder heads. A Comp Cams Xtreme Energy Kit (#K21-224-4, camshaft, lifters, & valve springs) was installed with 10-degree retainers and keepers. The camshaft was degreed-in during assembly. The pre-load on the lifters was set with a rocker shim kit. Felpro premium gaskets were used to assemble the engine as were all ARP bolts, including rod bolts. A new Melling high-volume, high-pressure oil pump was also installed. The intake manifold is a dual plane Offenhauser. Genuine Mopar performance valve covers, a 2 inch Phenolic Spacer and a matching B&M flexplate are also features of this motor. - Road Runner Horn- NO Factory Radio- Painted 2007 – Hood Needs New Paint ( Peeled Due To Motor Heat )- PA Inspection Expired July 2012- Horn and Left Turn Signal Not Working, Believed To Be A Wiring Issue- ~$38k into this vehicle On Sep-18-12 at 11:24:27 PDT, seller added the following information: - 770 Holley Street Avenger Carburetor- Flowmaster Exhaust
