Thank you for your interest regarding my 63 Chevrolet Impala.I have over $42,000 invested in it. Check it out on You Tube http://youtu.be/H3X2DJsnomA & on http://youtu.be/qE-CPdmtSKo This is my 1963 Impala 2 door Hardtop 327 Powerglide - 4 year restoration. It was completely gone through. All front end bushings, body mounts, complete wiring, steering, and exhaust parts are new. Disc brake setup in the front, as well as the power brake booster, new 2" drop spindles and lowering springs and new shocks and heavy duty sway bar and tie rod sleeves. This original 327 4 barrel, mated to the original Powerglide, resides under the hood and both have been thoroughly rebuilt, bored .030 over, heads are ported and polished with less than 1500 miles on it. The engine has not been dyno’d. Horsepower estimated conservatively at 275 to 300. Work was performed by a professional engine rebuilder (Northern Auto Machine Shop) and transmission shop to rebuild the transmission.(Stevens Transmissions). Brand new Late model 605 steering gearbox . The car was stripped down to bare metal before priming and painting. Several coats of primer applied and block sanded meticulously by hand with guide coat to get “Laser straight” beauty on all panels. Sealer was applied, then 4 coats of DuPont Charcoal Grey Metallic/Black 2 tone paint and 8 coats of Clear coat. Car was wet sanded by hand using 1200,1500,2000 then 3000 sandpaper. Buffing using several stages of compound and buffing pads bring out the beauty and depth of the color. Paint is high show quality. Painting and bodywork performed by a body man with over 30 years of classic experience The new OEM vinyl/cloth red OEM interior was provided by Classic Industries. New door panels, new seat covers over new foam, new carpeting, a new headliner, new armrests, door handles, and vent window levers. restored gauge cluster, new dash harness, a new forward lamp harness, new taillight harness, a new engine harness and new sending units in the motor. The new AC condenser installed and system charged. AC blows cold. The car is currently in storage and I am willing to store the car and help out with shipping and loading arrangements as necessary. It can be driven immediately without repairs/rework/tinkering. I have photo’s of the restoration as it progressed to completion. Again, thank you for your interest. You will not be disappointed, it is as good as it appears. I would not be offering it for sale if not for another project I am currently investing in. Please feel free to contact if you desire. Good Luck.
