This is a very special, original 1985 Toyota MR2. If you are looking for an original, not abused or modified great condition MK1 MR2, this is it. Has the original window sticker and owners manual. Is as close to a time-capsule as you can reasonably get. I'm the second owner and I bought it from the gentleman who was the original owner since 1985 as this was his first car when he was 18. I bought it from him last year and it has been very well maintained by both of us. As you can see from the pictures the interior is in excellent condition and has very minimal wear. The body and paint are also very good. Has a set of 4 new Dunlop Dirrenzas which are phenomenal tires. Wheels are in great shape. I strongly urge you to take a look at the car if you can. I have no problem taking it to your mechanic for an inspection if local. Maintained only at either a Toyota dealer or with an MR2 specialist. You can drive this car anywhere reliably and as it should perform. Rare color combo and in my opinion the most stunning of all the MK1s. During Florida summersI can't even put it on high as it would be too cold in the car. 2) Clutch, engine, electricals, everything works properly. Central door locking isn't working though. As mentioned the headlight switch needs replacing but the headlights work perfectly you just need to rotate the shaft instead of using the plastic lever which broke. 3) the car was repainted in the 90s as the rear bumper and trunk lid were damaged in an accident that was properly fixed through the Toyota dealer.  The previous owner wants everything to be perfect and match 100% which it does.  This is a car owned by 2 sticklers to originality. Do not let this throw you off, the paint and bodywork are excellent and better than 99% of any other MR2s I've seen. 4) I don't live in a rust-prone part of Florida, rust isn't an issue on this car. 5) drives perfectly and is tight, brakes are excellent as are the shocks/suspension. The car basically needs nothing but gas.  It's almost criminal how cheap these great cars are going for.  This is the last week it will be up for auction, I'm not giving it away, if it doesn't sell, I'm keeping it out of principle!  A smart buyer will get a great car.
