When I bought this bike a few years ago, I had planned on riding it forever. However, I own more bikes than I can ride or take care of, and I need to cut down the collection to a manageable size. In general, this is a very clean and well taken care of VTR 250. It runs and rides very strong! These bikes are becoming very sought after and collectible, and if you ask people who have owned one, most will tell you the bike is more fun to ride than the new Honda CBR250 and the Ninja 250. THE MAJOR POINTS ABOUT IT - The carbs were cleaned and adjusted by a local Honda expert less than 1 month ago, in August, and since then the bike has gone through only one tank of gas. Also, the spark plugs have been changed, and the bike was given a total tune up, so that now the bike starts the first time and runs fine. - The bike is in very good, clean condition. I'm not going to tell you its a 'perfect show bike', because it's not, but it is in very clean and excellent condition for its age! The only blemishes on the body are a small scratch which has been touched up on the corner of both front fairings (see photos). I do not believe the bike has ever been dropped, rather it appears to have been bumped or scraped against something while stored in a garage. The plastic fairings are not broken or cracked. If you don't look directly at the small scratch, you will never notice it, and from 10 feet, the bike looks almost new. The tank also has no dents and no big scratches. The side fairings and the rear fairings are also a 9.5 out of 10 condition. The only issue is one of the side fairings has a very small hairline crack near one of the mounting bolts, and also the rear fairing has had the (ugly pink) decal removed at some point, so now its all white (again, see photos) - The tires are fresh and good, the brakes work fine, and the clutch engages strongly. ALL lights work, the horn works, and the tools are all there and properly stored in the compartment under the seat where they belong.. - Everything works on the bike and you'll have no problem going through your state safety inspection. - The bike has a clear PA title.Any questions, please ask BEFORE BIDDING!!!!!I'm happy to answer any and all questions about this bike.
