This car is in classic metallic Silver with Dark Blue Leather Interior. This Mercedes is fully equipped with factory Air Conditioning, Power Windows and locks, Power Front seats with heaters, climate control, Sunroof, Automatic Transmission and AM/FM/cassette Stereo. The odometer shows 146,482 miles. This car is part of a larger collection of cars which we recently purchased from a collector in Lynchburg, VA. Most of the older cars will be sold at the Simeone Museum by Bonhams Auction Company on October 8, 2012. Due to time restraints we are selling a few cars from this collection No-Reserve on E-Bay. PLEASE NOTE: This Mercedes has been in closed dry storage since 2000, previously it was regularly driven by the owner of the collection as his personal car . This car currently does not run and has not been driven for at least ten years. However, we have established that the engine is free and does turn over smoothly using the car starter. The engine will fire and run using starting fluid, however, we did not clean the fuel system. Please note, last month, during severe weather, the storage building for this car had six inches of water. Carpets were damp, no other water damage occurred. Overall condition is average and consistent with age of vehicle. Interior is all original. There are tears in leather upholstery as pictured, carpet is complete, headliner is complete with no tears, all door panels and dash wood are very nice. Please note missing speaker cover on right side of dash. All knobs, switches, and Gauges are original and correct. Please note as pictured there is some peeling and rust areas on exterior of car. Floors and frame are solid. Chrome and stainless trim is very good and in very presentable condition. Grill and bumpers are in great condition. This is a car that needs some attention to get running and has minor cosmetic issues. The car is being sold with a clean Pa title.
