You are bidding on a 1989 Pontiac Trans Am 20th anniversary model that is in excellent condition. The 1989 anniversary turbo Trans Am was a limited production with only 1,555 ever made. This particular Trans Am was production #0574. The anniversary Trans Am's were equipped with the legendary 3.8 SFI Turbo V6 that came in the infamous Buick Grand National. The factory rated the Trans Am with 250 HP and 300 ft lbs of torque which was grossly underated as to not have more HP than GM's flagship Corvette. The Trans Am you are bidding on is very well preserved and has the original paint, interior, wheels, etc... It is very very clean with no rust on the body. The car has always been garage kept and well maintained. The car does have some bolt on accesories which include; scanmaster, electronic boost control, 3" downpipe with an electric cut out, (car will be shipped with catalytic converter installed and not the cut out, but it is included), turbo timer(also never installled, but included), throttle calibrator/enhancer, engine torque strap, ultra chip, RJC power plate, and a pcv inline check valve. The car has been well kept and never raced. (with only 42,190 miles, it was hardly driven), The car runs great and is ready to enjoy. There are some notable items that I will disclose such as the drivers seat does show some signs of wear which is quite common on GM F-bodies, (see pics) the drivers seat does also have a very small rip where you sit, (barely noticable) the rear urethane spoiler does some rips/tears which was also common to this car, the left power mirror works intermittently, the center console storage light doesn't come on. Other than these small items, the interior is in great shape. Their are some other items that are included with the sale such as; leather repair kit, factory owners manual and factory shop manuals, door handle decals, car bra, new Trans Am floor mats, new Trans Am hood insulator (installed), 2 Trans Am jackets, Trans Am hat, and a car cover, the original special Trans Am kit that came with the Pace Car door decals, door handle emblems, windshield decal, 20th anniversary cassette tape, owners manual, and the anniversary key chain. It also comes with the original T-top shades, (which are getting hard to come by). The tires are in great shape and the fronts are Goodyear Eagle ZR50's and the rear tires are street legal Mickey Thompson drag radials for traction. The wheels are also in excellent condition with no pitting or rust. The car had new struts, shocks, wheel bearings and brakes installed in August of 2011. The Trans Am is sold AS IS with no warranty offered or implied. Down payment of $500.00 is due within 48 hrs of auction end via Pay Pal. Full payment must be cleared by my bank before vehicle is shipped. I WILL ONLY SELL WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL 48 STATES. The buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and shipping costs, although I will assist you in anyway. I prefer the vehicle be picked up within 2 weeks of final payment.
