1972 Mercedes Benz 280SE 4.5 V8 A/C POWER OPTIONS This is a great collectors item, this is a great starter car for someone I have seen these sell for over 10k fully restored. This is the 280SE 4.5 motor the one you want. This is not a turn key. If you are expecting a flawless or a vehicle that does not need TLC this is not the one for you. Please do not bid if thats what your expecting. This is a nice vehicle. It is not perfect, It needs some extensive body work as you can see in the pictures. The floors need to be done, on the driver and passenger side fronts, in the back they are decent.. It was last on the road 2 years ago. It may need the brake lines replaced and other mechanical work. I am not sure exactly what. This starts up and turns over, it will not stay running once you release the key from the start position. My mechanic said its the the starter, I am not sure what else. It comes with all the chrome trim for both sides of the car it is in the trunk. The rear chrome bumper comes with it but is not attached. I start it 2-3 times a week. It has a good motor and trans. I used to it to go back and forth to college, Its mostly highway miles on it. Understand this needs work. The interior is in EXCELLENT condition. It is black leather interior, It has no rips, tears, or cracks! It has no blemishes on the leather. It has power windows and seats, the power options work. The windows all go up and down. The power seats work. It has A/C not sure if it works. It has over 160k miles on it. The original radio has been changed out. This comes with many extra parts. Way to many to list. Over 1k in extra parts included. The lights bezels are in the trunk. Comes with a spare tire and many other extra parts. Window regulators and other odds and end I would say in my estimate close to 1k in spare parts are in the trunk that are being sold and going with the buyer of this vehicle.. The trunk floors are not rotted. It does not leak water in the trunk or anywhere inside the vehicle. It comes with the original owners manual and paperwork. It has the white headliner which is in very good shape. In the back rear window it is starting to slightly hang down, It does not have any rips, tears or stains. It has the original vin plate on the drivers side front window. None of the windows are cracked, they are all in great shape. All the gauges on the dash did work, they still light up. This comes with a clean Pa title. There is well over 9k in good parts if you decided to go that route. Due to it not currently being driveable and needing body work this is being SOLD AS-IS!
