Vehicle Detail

this is a pretty nice original triumph tr6 that i recently purchased from the original owner. i thought this would be a nice addition to the muscle car collection. always likes the looks of the tr6. i just had to replace my pump for my well, so this may have to pay for it. the original owner had it painted in 1977, from the original color of sienna brown. he said he had it under coated before taking delivery, as i can see some of the brown under the lower rocker under coating. the carbs were rebuilt a couple of years ago at the sum of $1,100.00. has a new stainless exhaust system. was in california and colorado garaged most of its life. tires are in great shape, and the spare is still an old redline. starts right up, and sounds very good, with plenty of power. all the panels fit nice, doors shut tight, and hood lines up nice. he converted it to electronic ignition, and an oil filter conversion. the hardtop is very nice, and a nice rare piece. the soft top frame is also included. has rear luggage rack also, with factory triumph am radio. it is really a neat car, and usually all rotted out. this has a small rust hole od pass. fender, where he said his radio mast was out for some time, and water got in the hole. trunk is nice, as are the floors! what does not work now, and i dont know why, because they worked last week--brake lights, and turn signals, and radio? they seemed to work fine, dont know if i knocked off a wire? all gauges work, but needs a speedo cable. throw out bearing is growling. the frame under neath still has the under coating on it and is solid, other than 1 spot where the trailing arm on pass side is. this is a very very common spot on these, and have patch panels to repair them. i am just being honest and up front on these items, so there will be no surprises. i have looked at a few that they said were rust free, and the whole under side is rotted away, as some people dont even look there. good oil pressure. choke works, as does heater and fan. interior has 2 new upper door panels new that go with the car in trunk. I WILL INCLUDE A VERY REASONABLE BUY IT NOW, WITH THE RESERVE UNDER $3,000.00!!!!! ONCE RESERVE IS MET, BUY IT NOW WILL GO AWAY. I ALSO HAVE THIS FOR SALE LOCALLY, SO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO PULL IT, UNLESS BUY IT NOW IS MET. LOOK AT MY FEEDBACK. I CAN STORE CAR FOR 1 MONTH FREE, THEN $75.00 PER MONTH AFTER. IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 10+ FEEDBACKS, YOU MUST E-MAIL BEFORE BIDDING, OR I MAY CANCEL YOU OUT!!!! PLEASE E-MAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS, AS I AM NOT AN EXPERT ON THESE CARS, JUST LOVE THE LOOKS AND THE HERITAGE OF BRITISH SPORTS CARS.
