Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1977 Scout II. This vehicle is road ready and is driven everyday. This weekend it was driven 300 miles. The engine runs well and does not have any major problems that I am aware of. The Carb could probably use a little adjusting or be cleaned. The body is in decent shape, there are several rust spots on the vehicle, they could be repaired or probably just as easy to get a new or used part if you are looking for a perfect body. The seats are in need of a cover or being reupholstered. The inside minus the front seats cloth are in pretty good condition. It has brand new mud tires with 97% tread life left. Everything functions minus the temp gauge and oil pressure gauge. Lights work, windshield wipers work, gas gauge works. It can be driven the day you get it. Starts up every time. The oil was changed today as well. This 35 yr old vehicle shows wear on the body but is clearly not a rust bucket that you commonly see. All doors and windows work as well as tail gate and locks. Has spare tire mounted in back as well as a lock box in the cargo area. It has a mag light mount on the drivers side and also comes with a Bearcat CB radio (functioning). Also included is a bikini top. This vehicle is currently primered. I will do my best to identify all the spots that are of any importance. If you want the Scout experience and don't want to spend a fortune, jump in and drive away in this one. This vehicle would be a great restore if that's what you are into. Buyer is responsible for shipping. Low reserve, so good luck and happy bidding! On Sep-05-12 at 18:59:02 PDT, seller added the following information:Also that is dirt on the bottom of the truck, not rust. Noticed that on the photos, just wanted to clarify that. Probably should have sprayed it off. Oops!
