PLEASE READ THE LISTING BEFORE PLACING A BID!!!!!! Up for sale/auction is my personal 1999 Mercedes SLK230 with 111k miles on it. Car runs and drives good, AC is ice cold, but it does need TLC, therefore starting bid at no reserve is very low and SLK230 is sold AS IS with no warranty. ok, this is 1999 SLK230, supercharged with 2.3L 4 cylinder engine, which is very good on gas and very fast!!!!. Car runs and drives good for its age and mileage is pretty low for its year as well. Ice cold AC. Engine runs strong, transmission shifts good no problems. Car does have the rare AMG Sport Package which includes complete body kit, such as both bumpers and side skirts. also AMG staggered wheels with almost new tires on them. This is a good car, however, it needs TLC, some work needs to be done to make it to be in very good shape. I just dont have any more time nor money willing to spend on it. Here is a list of the things which will need attention. First, top/roof doesnt operate due to the front locking cylinder is leaking, i do have another cylinder already it just has to be changed. Also, rear right wheel bearing is noisy when driving, I do have another as well so someone can change it. All the pats will come with the sale. It is very low car, due to the amg package, there is also a crack on the front lower peace of the bumper. Recently new motor mount were put on and oil change was done. Once again this is a very good looking convertible Mercedes, but it does need some TLC. These cars with amg pkg go about 8k on ebay, i do have a starting bid at 5.2k due to the work on this car needs to be done, which is very fair. If you think its not worth it to you, please dont waste my or your time, im not on rush selling it, it sits in my garage and i drive it some times on the weekend. Car is located in Dallas TX and i can deliver it to the Dallas DFW airport if seller is out of state.
