Special-ordered 2001 Volvo V70, 7 pass wagon, 5-speed manual, original owner. Great car for family with children whose parents like manual transmissions. Silver blue with black interior 230,000 miles Am/FM/CD/Cassette player. Sunroof. Timing belt replaced 10/10. Second clutch replacement 2010, at which time flywheel was resurfaced. Made all Volvo scheduled service appointments through 2011 (last was at 215,000 miles). Has 160 lb capacity rear-facing third seat with 2 shoulder/lap belts and headrests. In 2nd row, has two built-in lift-up bolster seats. Comes with cross bars for the built in roof rails (1 Thule and 1 Volvo), sets of both cloth and rubber mats, retractable luggage area cover, and four snow tires. Michelin Pilot tires, right front tire has slow leak. After car warms up, there is an intermittent erratic idle... not sure why and don’t want to spend money to check, but could be a sensor. Also after warm up, there is an occasional slight high-pitched noise that sounds like it could be an accessory bearing or idler, alternator was replaced with rebuilt in 2010. Body has various dings, including a dent in rear passenger door, and scuffing on liftgate from roof pod. Replaced in December with new Jetta wagon, but miss the spaciousness of the V70!
