1985 Volvo 240 Sedan You can spend a lifetime looking for one this nice!! The last of the real 240's. Mint condition - Non-smoker, dealer maintained since new. Purchased in Washington State, rust-free, owned by a retired Newark school teacher (senior owned) who drove it to the train station only, never into the city as you can see from the pictures. Has 178,665K - low miles for its age, driven approx 6,000mi per year. This car has the original WORKING AM/FM Cassette and radio The original WORKING power antenna. The original floor mats! Crushed velor interior. No rips, tears, or holes. FEATURES: Cruise Control - A/C - Power locks - Crank Windows - Power Antenna Rear defrost, Dual remote mirrors, Original mudflaps Full size spare tire with jack and all of the original tools Spare tire has original cover with tool pocket Clock, Odometer and Tripometer all work. Very rare! Working Gas/Temperature gauge. Fan/motor makes no noise All of the lights work including the overhead, trunk light, glove box light, console light and all exterior lighting BODY: Absolutely NO rust on the rocker panels, frame or body, with the exception of very small surface rust which is pointed out in below pictures due to a scratch on the passenger side lower door. All the glass is original Volvo stenciled as it is the chrome trim and moldings which are in perfect condition with no dry rot. All of the rubber door moldings are intact and in great shape. No Dents! INTERIOR: Carpeting is in great condition, includes all 4 original floor mats. The center console is in perfect condition with no cracks. The driver side map pocket is intact. All the door panels are in perfect condition with no rips or tears. Every window rolls up and down without any trouble The A/C works, but will need a charge. There is one small common crack in dashboard on the driver's side, shown in pictures, the rest of dash is perfect. The glove box works, and locks, and has all original manuals and original plastic sleeve. MOTOR + TRANSMISSION: The battery is 6 months old. Receipt included (as all receipts documenting the car maintenance) Timing belt, water pump have been replaced 55,000mi ago. Fuel injectors have all been replaced a year ago. The motor runs strong, quiet and fuel efficiently. Transmission is an automatic with working electronic overdrive. The overdrive works perfectly, and transmission shifts quietly.
