For Sale - 1987 CRX Si shell This is a perfect 1G CRX bodyshell to use for restoring or rebuilding the rusted out 1G CRX you already own! This car is being sold primarily as a parts car, or for someone to use for a 'body swap'. Are you one of the hundreds of frustrated and depressed CRX owners here on the East Coast who have watched helplessly over the years as your beloved little CRX has been disintegrating before your very eyes? Do you have fond memories of how nice your CRX used to look when there weren't holes in the rear fenders and when you couldn't see the road passing by under your feet? Well, don't despair at the cost and time of repairing all that rust!! Just get this body shell that came from down south and swap your interior and drivetrain into it and before you know it, "Voila!!" - No more rust problems! I've done this already on other cars, and its not as big of a deal with these cars as it sounds. You can easily swap a whole interior in less than a day, and the motor and transmission in another day or two of work. This shell has everything you need to convert your rusty old 1984-87 CRX into a solid nearly rust free one! I wish to make this clear... this shell does not have a title. (You will have to use the title from your existing car once its rebuilt) I never got the title for it because it was bought from someone who was racing it. What you will get if you buy the car for my opening bid (NO Reserve) is.... - the complete bodyshell, including the doors and all glass. There will be no interior and no drivetrain. It is currently sitting on 4 mini-spare tires (donuts) and can be easily pushed or rolled onto a trailer or 2 wheel tow dolly. - also you will get all the suspension components, sunroof tray, motor, and panel (panel is rusty) IF THE BIDS GO UP TO.... - $300, then I will include the tail lights and carpet - $400, then I will include the interior door panels and other plastic interior panels - $500, then I will include the engine, gearbox and other drivetrain accessories under the hood (eg, distributor, starter, manifold, etc.) - $600, then I will include the ecu and wiring harness IF Someone watching this auction wants/needs some parts from the car, then I'm willing to part out (if the car doesn't sell) - Good condition motor ($200) and gearbox ($200) - Good tail light set (3 pieces for $90) - Good ecu ($90) - Good windshield ($100), door windows ($50 each), rear quarter glass ($50 each), hatch door and glass ($100) - Good rustfree and dent free doors ($100 each) - Main wiring harness for the Si injected CRX ($100). - Interior door panels and most other interior plastic parts ($200) a mostly complete set - Brakes, suspension and steering components ($20-50 each, depending how much of my time is required to remove and pack them) - For those of you who always write and ask "how much will it take to end the auction now", the answer is $550 - for the car how it sits as-is, with all the parts still attached... first person to show up with cash in hand gets it)- I'm aware that there aren't many photos appearing at the moment.
